The SMT job application procedure involves a number of simple steps.
After the initial online application and once the closing date has passed, all incoming applications are screened by the hiring manager, and suitable candidates are invited for a first interview. Dependent on the level of the job role, a second interview may follow. For various roles we also include recruitment testing; this may include testing for competence (such as mechanical testing) or psychometric testing for personality / fit. The successful candidate will be offered a position and sent an employment contract. We always try to keep this process as short as possible, but bear in mind that it may take a few weeks.
