Position: Field Service Engineer
Location: London – covering customers within the M25
Want to work with a globally recognised brand of heavy plant and construction machinery? SMT GB markets and distributes Volvo Construction Equipment including wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment products across the UK.
As a mobile engineer you’ll be attending breakdowns as well as carrying out services, maintenance, repairs and overhauls on Volvo heavy plant and machinery at customer sites.
Hours
Core hours: Monday to Wednesday 08.00 – 16.30 Thursday 08.00 – 16.00 Fridays 8.00 – 15.30
Overtime: Time and a half on hours outside of core hours Monday to noon Saturday
Overtime: Double time from noon Saturday to 08.00 Monday

Requirements
- Must be located within the M25
- You must hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land-based engineering or HGV Maintenance
- Mechanical experience in construction or heavy plant machinery
- Ability to work without supervision to a high standard
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship
